In a nod to the iconic game’s 45th anniversary, Google has partnered with Taito to release Space Invaders: World Defense, an augmented reality (AR) version of the classic game.
Players can now defend the real world against invading aliens by utilizing AR technology, with the game featuring social elements for friendly competition.
Your device must be compatible with ARCore in order to play. To play on an Android device, it must be running on Android 11 or above. For Apple devices, the minimum OS requirement is iOS 16.0.
